As crime increases the Democrat controlled city council voted unanimously to cut $8 million from the police budget and move to other city services.

More than 300 people signed up to speak some supporting the cuts and others saying “it’s going to be a tragedy.”

“The city council is listening to bullies. They’re not listening to all of their constituents. If you cut police down by any more than what you have out there right now, it’s going to be a tragedy to see that happen,” Lisa Clemons, with A Mother’s Love, said.
