In a Michigan House Oversight Committee about the 2020 Election Representative CA Johnson raised her hand to ask a question from a witness, Jessy Jacob. Jessy was very nervous but still came forward because she felt very strongly about what she witnessed while working the Michigan elections.

Representative CA Johnson proceeded to try and intimidate the witness by asking for identifying information. Of all the questions she could’ve asked, like her testimony about backdating ballots, she decided to ask questions that she easily could’ve read from a transcript.

Rep. CA Johnson:

Thank you, Mr. Chair. Okay. Good evening.

Jesse Jacob:

Good evening, Ms. Johnson.

Rep. CA Johnson:

You … Your name is Jessy.

Jesse Jacob:

Jacob.

Rep. CA Johnson:

Jessy Jacobs. Is that your birth name?

Jesse Jacob:

Okay. My first name is Jessy when I was married. My husband’s last name is Jacob. When I got married in 1983, 37 years ago, I had my maiden name. That’s my dad’s house name. It’s a long name.

Rep. CA Johnson:

Can you spell it please?

Jesse Jacob:

K-I K like kite I-Z-H-A- K-E-K-A-R-A.
